Archetypes
What is an Archetype?
Archetypes are one of the final parts of the Character Creation process, but often serve as the baseline inspiration for your character concept.
Archetypes are packages of Features and Powers that are not achievable through other means.
As of right now, there is the "Human" which serves as a baseline character, and then one of 5 Archetypes that can be built upon that. And don't worry, if none of these look interesting to you, you can always create something Custom with your GM's assistance!
Human
Humans are the most commonly found sentient being in the world of Shadows, and can be found in every profession at every level as the dominant species. In fact most humans are likely unaware of the vampires, werewolves, nephilim, demons, and others that may be working alongside them.

Arcanist
Wizards, sorcerers, mages - many names exist for those who have managed to unlock the mysteries of the universe and wield its power like a weapon. You might shoot fireballs, create talismans, open a portal to another plane, or ward a set of power armor to render it bulletproof.

Cyborg
Some people love technology, others become it. Cyborgs are humans who have gone all in, complete with neural interface, cyberlimbs, nanobots, and more. Cyborgs pay for their cybernetics with a combination of cash and humanity, with some trading sanity for power.

Professional
The humans who make up NYTE City have to work for a living, and over the years they have picked up tons of skills, techniques, and modifications to be the best at what they do. They blend in to the crowd when needed, and stand out when its time to pull off a job. Skippers, Fixers, Digilantes, and others make up this group.

Vampire
As old as civilization itself, those who drink blood and seemingly live forever have incredible power and influence throughout NYTE City. Vampires can be part of many different houses, each with its own strengths, resources, allies, and enemies.

Werewolf
Lycanthropy is both a curse and a gift, and lets you tap into immense strength and savagery, while being part of an ancient tribe. Werewolves can shift between human and beast, and use this to their advantage throughout NYTE City. Beware the full moon.
